C.Lal’s Quality Assurance Department provides a Certified Test Report.
- Eddy Current metal sorter verifies different steel grades for mixup.
- Our 3-Meter Magnaflux machine clearly reveals all Surface and next-to-surface defects showing their length, intensity etc.
- Ultrasonic Test reveals all internal defects of steel which would otherwise pass on and prove hazardous.
Eddy Current Testing
The CIRCOGRAPH eddy current test system with rotating probes guarantees maximum detection sensitivity for exposed longitudinal surface defects on bright material. The sensor systems can display even the smallest material flaws from approx. 100 μm defect depth in high resolution along its full length. The probes rotate at a high speed around the test piece and scan its surface in a helical manner without making contact.
The CIRCOGRAPH DS impresses with its digital signal processing. This allows an automatic, high-resolution and multi-channel online flaw test of bright steel. The precise evaluation electronics not only tells you whether an error exists, but also exactly where. This minimizes waste and increases productivity.
The DEFECTOMAT systems operate in a contactless and non-destructive manner in accordance with the eddy current method and are used for detecting short defects, such as holes or localized defects and transverse defects. After the test, the material contains residual magnetization which has to be reduced to the specified values prior to delivery. FOERSTER provides the high-performance EMAG demagnetization unit for this purpose.

- A series of 2 point and 3 point Micrometers ensures that diameter and Ovality are measured with great accuracy Surface Roughness Tester ensures that exact Ra, Ry, Rz values are maintained on ground bars
